Overview
When making calls, you may hear extremely loud and garbled audio, which may occur in the first five seconds of the call after dialing a phone number. This article provides the steps on how to fix the issue that occurs on every few calls.
Preconditions
Access to Kerio Operator Administration
Root Cause
The issue only appears under specific circumstances when there is specific codec (i.e., G722) transcoding. Kerio Operator is consuming more server resources than it should, which might result in glitches (loud volume, etc.).
Resolution

Log in to Kerio Operator Admin and navigate to Configuration > Call Routing.

Double-click the relevant interface and go to the Codecs tab. Highlight the relevant codec and move it to the top using the upward arrow button:

Click the OK button:

Click the Yes button to dismiss the Call Disconnect warning:
Confirmation
Make a couple of test calls to confirm that the volume is back to normal.
