Overview
A Queue Length determines the maximum number of callers in the queue at the same time, and configuring this limit prevents callers from waiting too long in the queue. This article describes the steps to configure a Queue Length in Kerio Operator.
Note: The queue length is unlimited by default. To set the limit, perform the steps below.
Process
-
In Kerio Operator's administration, navigate to Configuration > Call Queues.
-
Click on Add or Edit depending on whether if you are adding a new configuration or editing an existing one. Either way, the Add Call Queues window appears.
-
On the General tab, the Queue length option is set to unlimited by default. Select the 'at most' option and set the maximum number of callers.
-
(Optional) Go to Announcements tab and select Full queue announcement. This announcement will be triggered when the limit is reached.
-
Click the Exceptions tab.
-
Select either of the following actions for the exceeded limit.
Action Description
Callers receive a busy signal If an announcement was set, the recording plays before a call is terminated.

-
Click OK to save the changes.
