Overview
This article provides the required steps to upgrade Kerio Operator from versions starting on 1.2.0.
Information
Environment
Kerio Operator v1.2.0 and higher.
Prerequisites

An active and valid Software Maintenance is required to upgrade to new versions of Kerio Operator and its components as soon as they are available.

Create a backup for the Kerio Operator configuration before the upgrade. For more information, refer to Saving Configuration Files to MyKerio.

Make sure that the server meets the system and hardware requirements reported in the Release Notes of the version you are upgrading to.

Kerio Operator requires restarts during the upgrade. Perform the upgrade when there is no traffic on the server or when it is least impacting on the business operation.
Process

From the administration interface, navigate to Advanced Options > Update Checker.

Under Update checker settings, select the Periodically check for new versions option, so Kerio Operator checks for new updates every 24 hours.

If you want to download new versions automatically, select Download new versions automatically.

If you want to get beta versions of the product, select Check also for beta versions.

Click Apply.

When Kerio Operator finds a new version, click Upgrade to install it and click Yes to confirm.
Confirmation
Kerio Operator upgrades to the latest version and restarts automatically when the upgrade is completed.
